After several repairs we decided to buy new beds for the dormitories. So that the children were not in the way during the assembly, the foundation councilor Fiona and some staff members took them on an excursion. Near the town of Gulu there is a small recreation center where you can learn a lot about the indigenous people of Uganda during a boat trip. Many of our children have never been outside the village, so it was a big highlight for them to cross the Nile and see the city of Gulu. In the evening after their return the big surprise - new beds in the sleeping wing. They were very happy.
