Every year in September, the motto is: "We run for children". This popular sponsored run is already a tradition and an important source of income for our foundation.
After many years of sunny and warm autumn weather, this year the cold and wet weather drove us into the hall. However, this did not dampen the good and exuberant mood. The runners, among them of course many children, looked for sponsors in the run-up to the event, who put a certain amount per lap or a fixed amount on them. With great joy and energy, the participants turned their laps for 12 minutes, knowing that each lap more, brings an additional contribution for the children in India and in Uganda. Of course, the runners were frenetically cheered on by the many visitors. The dance group "body and dance art" from Rothenthurm under the direction of Patricia Schuler sweetened the breaks for those present with their action-packed and fantastic presentations.
The organization of the event was once again perfect! The team around the OC president Juliana Gasser and the OC members Philip Gasser, Becki & Sebastian Born and Rolf Elsener are in the meantime a well-rehearsed team.
More than 85 children and adults ran for the benefit of our projects the great amount of more than 38 000 Swiss Francs. Our sincere thanks go to all runners, all helpers, all sponsors and the entire OC!
