In August, four of our children - two girls and two boys - had the special opportunity to take part in a week-long workshop on agroforestry together with one of our employees.
During this week, they not only learned the basics of this sustainable cultivation method, but also had the opportunity to get hands-on. The young people discovered how trees, plants and agriculture can be in harmony with each other and what contribution agroforestry makes to protecting our environment.
The workshop was organized by the APN Agroforestry Promotion Network and took place at the Bethany Land Institute (BLI) in Uganda, where innovative methods for sustainable agriculture are developed and disseminated.
We are grateful for this valuable experience, which has given the children new knowledge, exciting impressions and the joy of interacting with nature.
