The Indian government only allows state-run homes to accommodate healthy, school-age children under the age of 18.
Outlook

Children Around 30 orphans currently live in our main house. The three-storey house was built at the time to accommodate up to 100 children.

In India, too, 2020 has turned out completely differently than expected. All schools have been closed since spring and children have had to stay at home.

Opening of new school building

Together with his two colleagues Bea Reichle and Pascale Koller and Brigitte Born from the "Menschen für Menschen sein" association, Stefan Born, President of the Board of Trustees, visited "Mothers Nest" at the beginning of November 2018.

Inauguration of the main building

In November 2016, we proudly opened the new multi-storey building for our orphans and staff.
Start of construction of second building

The construction of a larger, three-storey building began in 2015. In addition, the construction of a school enables all children from our orphanage to attend school.
